Homemade Waffles

Mix it up, with these waffles! You can top these with fruit and powdered sugar or just butter and syrup. You can even cut these waffles up for a breakfast sandwich with some bacon, eggs, and cheese.

Homemade Waffles

Equipment

  • Waffle Maker

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup butter – melted (I used stick – unsalted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • baking spray (I used PAM)

Instructions

  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Set this to the side.
  • In another bowl combine all your wet ingredients. Whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla, and melted butter.
  • Slowly pour in wet ingredients into the dry ingredients while stirring. Mix until combined. Let this sit while your waffle maker heats up.
  • Preheat waffle maker.
  • Spray the waffle maker with baking spray (PAM) before pouring your batter on the waffle maker. Pour batter and cook for about 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown on each side.
  • Once golden brown serve and enjoy with your favorite toppings.
